Where new showers go in
- Half-bath to full-bath upgrades — the highest-value conversion in a one-bath house
- Basement bathrooms — increasingly common in Tulsa's newer south-side builds with finished basements
- Primary suite additions and garage/bonus room conversions
- As part of tub-to-shower conversions and full shower replacements
What a complete installation covers
Supply plumbing and a pressure-balanced or thermostatic valve; drain placement (including jackhammering slab where needed — standard in Oklahoma slab homes); a waterproofed base or custom pan; wall system in acrylic or tile; glass, lighting-safe placement and ventilation. New installs are also the cheapest moment to add the touches that cost real money later: a bench, a niche, a handheld on a slide bar, blocking in the walls for future grab bars.
